Jean Whalen Raymond is the Principal Consultant and Founder of Highland Training Consultants based in Southern Maine and serving clients nationwide. She has been in the career development field for more than 11 years and is a Certified Professional Résumé Writer.

Jean started in the industry at FutureWorks Career Center in western Massachusetts. There she was instrumental in building a “Job Club” that provided job seekers with the valuable resource of exposure to employers, workshops on effective résumé writing and interviewing skills, motivational sessions, and guest speakers throughout the business community to offer information, support and encouragement to those in career transition.

Jean is passionate about providing productive, tangible, top-quality services that empower job seekers and enable them to effectively make a solid career transition. One of her favorite strategies in obtaining up-to-date information is through networking and collaborating with colleagues and professionals in the industry.

That passion for helping others, whether they are clients or colleagues, is a valuable asset to the NRWA. As Second Vice President, Jean will be serving as conference coordinator, which will require her to create opportunities to gain and share information together with creating networking opportunities for all. Jean brings an exuberant amount of enthusiasm and creativity to the organization.
