The teleseminar presenter, Marie Zimenoff, held leadership development, selection, and advising roles in mechanical and biomedical engineering divisions of various higher education institutions before launching her career management and professional résumé writing firm. She specializes in assisting science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) professionals and working with electrical, mechanical, and civil engineers, software developers, and IT professionals from firms such as Kodak, Covidien, and Hewlett Packard. She will share her expertise on how to capitalize on the straightforward, no-frills style of many of these clients while teaching them to communicate their value in language understood by hiring managers.
At the conclusion of this teleseminar, you will come away with questioning tactics, a deeper understanding of industry jargon, and sample résumés, cover letters, and online/traditional bios to immediately spice up your engineering/technical communications.
Marie Zimenoff is a Nationally Certified Résumé Writer and Nationally Certified Counselor. As President of A Strategic Advantage, she guides individuals through practical career decision-making and strategic job searches. Marie is an informative speaker and trainer, and her experience includes speaking at national conferences, presenting trainings for local job seeker groups, and teaching workshops and classes in University and community settings. Marie holds a master’s degree in Counseling and Career Development from Colorado State University and is President of the Colorado Career Development Association and a board member for The National Résumé Writers’ Association.
