How I work with clients
I tell clients' work story, to market them most effectively. I use a system of questionnaires and deconstruct clients' current resume to get to know them very well, very fast. I identify clients' Core Value Proposition - what they love to do, do well and want to do again, working in a way resonant with their values, personality and work style. The resume positions them to do this work, by using a profile that conveys skills, impact and personality. The resume "proves" the profile, showing impact, accomplishments, and scope of work. I optimize resumes and LinkedIn profiles using keywords for work clients want to do. I help them come up with an "intention statement" - a succinct answer to "what are you looking for?" And I help them prepare cover letters that effectively market them to employers and get them an interview. I coach people for networking, to prepare for interviews, and through job offers and compensation negotiations.
