HOW TO SUBMIT A NOMINATION We invite you to nominate yourself or another NRWA member for a board position. Before you submit a nomination, please remember that all candidates must be members of the NRWA in good standing for at least one year prior to the election. In addition, candidates for Executive Board roles (President-Elect and Secretary) must have served in a board role (currently or in the past) for at least a year. Please confirm that the member is interested in serving before you nominate them. *Daily financial activities and all reports are prepared by the association’s administrative and finance staff. DIRECTORS OF MEMBER SUPPORT (Six Directors - Each serve a one-year term) Directors of Member Support (DOMS)* represent the general membership in the following segments:
DOMS advocate on behalf of members and vote on issues directly affecting the direction of the NRWA, including significant financial and policy decisions. *DOMS receive all board benefits and must meet the same expectations as other board roles.
